Our 220 sqm gallery for contemporary art is located on the first floor of one of the iconic 1970s GDR prefabricated buildings in centeal Berlin. You enter through a regular building entrance and then go upstairs through an inconspicuous iron door, after which a spacious area extends to the north and south. This space is very special, as it has a ceiling height of 5.44 meters and large windows facing the street. You can see directly onto Leipziger Strasse when you walk to the front of the office area, and when you walk to the back of the exhibition area, you can see the delivery lane and the buildings on Hausvogteiplatz, as well as the top of the television tower. We have used high-quality materials in the gallery. The entrance area and hallway are finished with rough plaster, and the transition to the office is a large cube with a large-scale wooden shelf cube. To the north is the approximately 90 sqm exhibition space, which has a golden ratio and is very flexible. All rooms have light rails with a variable plug-in system. We also have a project room on the ground floor that can be used flexibly, e.g., as a cloakroom, preparation room, or storage room.
Unsere 220 qm große Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst ist in einem der ikonischen 70er Jahre DDR-Plattenbau im 1. OG in der Leipziger Strasse in Berlin gelegen. Man kommt durch einen regulären Hauseingang und muss dann nach oben durch eine unscheinbare Eisentür, nach der sich eine großzügige Fläche nach Norden und Süden erstreckt. Sehr speziell, da diese Räume eine Deckenhöhe von 5,44 m hat und große Fenster zur Strasse hin. Man kann direkt auf die Leipziger Strasse sehen wenn man nach vorne in den office Bereich geht und wenn man nach hinten in den Ausstellungsbereich geht, blickt man auf die Liefergasse und auf die Bauten des Hausvogteiplatzes wie auch die Spitze des Fernsehturm. Wir haben in der Galerie hochwertige Materialien verbaut. Der Eingangsbereich bzw. Flur ist mit Rotband rauh verputzt, der Übergang zum office ist ein großer Kubus mit einem Holzregal. Nach Norden geht der ca. 90 qm große Ausstellungsraum, der einen goldenen Schnitt hat und seht flexibel ist. In allen Räumen laufen Lichtschienen mit variablen Stecksystem. Wir haben im Erdgeschoß noch einen Projektraum, den man flexibel dazu nutzen kann, z.B. als Garderobe, Vorbereitungs- oder Lagerraum.
